PURCHASE YOUR CARBON OFFSETS WHILE SUPPORTING THE YOUTH OF AMERICA AND OUR ENVIRONMENT AT THE SAME TIME!   THE BARREN COUNTY (KY) 4-H CLUB IS BREAKING NEW GROUND BY INITIATING A CARBON NEUTRAL OFFSET PROGRAM.  BY PURCHASING YOUR CARBON OFFSETS WITH THE BARREN COUNTY 4-H CLUB NOT ONLY WILL YOU BE REPLENISHING OUR ENVIRONMENT BUT YOU WILL BE SUPPORTING ONE OF AMERICA’S MOST VISIBLE AND ACTIVE YOUTH ORGANIZATIONS!   HOW THE PROGRAM WORKS: For every metric ton of CO2 produced an offset may be purchased for $5. (This number was derived by using the most conservative end of the carbon offset survey as published by ecobusinesslinks.com.)  For every two offsets that are purchased 4-H members will plant a tree as part of the global reforestation project. Other options include the collection and productive redistribution of an equivalent (metric ton) amount of biomass. An authorized certificate verifying the offset purchase will be sent to you with accompanying documentation including project specifics and appropriate tax exemption information.
